Malaysias constitution provides citizens with the right to freedom of speech and expression but allows for limitations on those rights.

Article 10 of the Constitution of Malaysia guarantees Malaysian citizens the right to freedom of speech freedom of assembly and freedom of association. Freedom of Speech Assembly and Association is recorded under Article 10 1 of the Federal Constitution in Part II.
